I’m a women’s footwear designer based in Oakland, California. I have a deep love for creating footwear designs that help lift and finish any wardrobe. I gravitate towards clean and modern lines, and try to incorporate sustainability and innovation in all aspects of my design process.

  • Execute seasonal research and presentation of concepts for womens footwear. Responsibilities include research, design, tech-packing, technical fittings, raw material development, and product development up to TOP samples.

  • Collaborate with the merchandising team to designate core seasonal styles, identify areas of opportunities and growth, and deliver key item success.

  • Manage and communicate daily with our agents/factories in Asia and Brazil, while working closely with our production and sourcing team to oversee development.

  • Work closely with our factories to effectively cost engineer product to deliver the best quality while ensuring our company margin goals are met.

  • Day to day communication with our QA team to wear test every style, provide meaingful fit feedback to our site merch team, and ensure all aspects of production are up to the Everlane quality standards.

  • Researched and proposed seasonal concepts, color, constructions and materials for footwear and belts.

  • Created all technical specs for new constructions, upper designs, hardware and materials.

  • Worked alongside sourcing to manage fit and sample development with our overseas factories.

  • International travel up to 4-5x a year to Italy, Spain, and China to correct prototypes and ensure the best quality of salesman samples, as well as attend Lineapelle. for material research.

  • Collaborated with an Italy belt vendor to execute seasonal designs for VB runway and market.

  • Worked closely with the merchant team to ensure a seasonally balanced assortment, and develop key drivers while maintaining the brand’s elevated point of view.
